How Family Sessions Work

Book A Session
Fill out the form on the "Book" page and I will get back to you within 24 hours to set a date. One week before your session I will set up a quick call to go over your vision, location, outfits, etc.

Shoot Day
The day of our shoot I will come with tons of prompts to make you feel confident in front of the camera, do not worry about how to pose, that is my job! Unlimited friends, family, and pets are allowed and welcome.

Receive Photos
Within two weeks of our shoot, you will receive a link in your email to a private online gallery. It allows for unlimited downloads of all your photos. There is also an optional print shop if you want physical copies.

If you need inspiration of where to take family photos, I am here to help. My first suggestion is always your home. Not only will it likely make your kids more comfortable, it will serve as an authentic memory of your families life.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a limit to the amount of people?
No! Need a photo of your 50 person family reunion? I got you.
Do you only shoot in Portland?
I shoot all over the PNW. There is a travel fee of $100 for any session 50 miles outside of Portland to cover travel expenses.
How will I receive my photos?
You will get a link sent in your email within two weeks of our shoot with your customized, password protected, online gallery with photos available for free unlimited downloads.
How do I pay?
I do not charge clients until AFTER we have shot our session, but BEFORE you get your final photos. I will send an invoice to your email to be paid online with a card, but if you prefer to pay cash, please bring it to our session.
What if I don't know how to pose?
No worries, that is my job! I have plenty of prompts and come to every shoot with a Pinterest board full of inspiration and will guide you through the whole session. If you have any poses or photos you want to recreate send them to me before the session and we can make it happen!
What if it rains?
I have lived in the PNW my whole life and know the rain is unpredictable. I will leave it completely up to you as it is your session, you can either reschedule for free, move to an indoor location, or throw on a jacket and embrace the rain.
